Installation and Implementation Services
Installation Walkthrough
A remote training session to simplify setup of more extensive sites, user groups
and user interface customizations. A NetSimplicity training representative
will provide consultation and assistance to system administrators for the installation
and initial configuration Visual Asset Manager on your chosen server via audio
and web conference. NOTE: please ensure that the system you will use for the
install meets the system
requirements prior to the start of the session.
Asset Management Implementation – Standard
A remote training session conducted by NetSimplicity implementation partners E-ISG. This package includes the following items:
- One installation and configuration of VAM Network Client, Web Client and Reports.
- One of the following:
- Development of operational plan for inventory and asset management.
- Five custom reports.
- Forms customization using VAM Form Designer. Up to five forms.
- Data import assistance for two data sets
- Unlimited email support from E-ISG (less than 24-hour response) during period of this agreement and 30 days beyond this agreement.
- Unlimited telephone support from E-ISG (nine hours/day, five days/week) during period of this agreement.
- One two-hour user training session of VAM including scanner setup and use.
- One two-hour administrative walkthrough of VAM demonstrating basic functions.
Asset Management Implementation – Premium
A remote training session conducted by NetSimplicity implementation partners E-ISG. This package includes the following items below:
- One installation and configuration of VAM Network Client, Web Client and Reports.
- Development of operational plan for inventory and asset management.
- Five custom reports.
- Forms customization.
- Data import assistance for two data sets.
- Unlimited email support from E-ISG (less than 24-hour response) during period of this agreement and 30 days beyond this agreement.
- Unlimited telephone support from E-ISG (nine hours/day, five days/week) during period of this agreement.
- One user training session of VAM including scanner setup and use and inventory practices and preparation including preparation for data import.
- One administrative walkthrough of VAM demonstrating basic functions.
Training
NetSimplicity offers remote training packages designed to give administrators the knowledge to effectively use Visual Asset Manager.
System Administrator Training
This session is designed for system administrators who will be deploying and administering the application within your organization. Our trainer will provide an overview of the application for the “user” perspective, and will then explain the details of all administrative options available within the application.
Getting Started With Asset Management – IT Track
This session is designed for IT Asset Managers and shows you how to optimize Visual Asset Manager by using ITIL methodology. This training session is delivered by our implementation partners at E-ISG and is intended for customers who purchase the Mobile Computer Barcode Scanning Module. This session includes the following:
- Inspection of the VAM installation.
- Test the synchronization of Asset Manager Workbench software.
- Admin training to cover use and configuration of scanner, publishing of scanner data to VAM.
- End user training to cover day-to-day use of scanner.
- Provide an inventory plan template and instruction to the inventory team and provide phone support during the inventory effort.
- Master templates for ITIL V3 data collection and IT categories and subcategories.
Getting Started With Asset Management – Facilities Track
This session is designed for Facilities Managers and shows you how to optimize Visual Asset Manager for use with conducting your inventory. This training session is delivered by our implementation partners at E-ISG and is intended for customers who purchase the Mobile Computer Barcode Scanning Module. This session includes the following:
- Inspection of the VAM installation.
- Test the synchronization of Asset Manager Workbench software.
- Admin training to cover use and configuration of scanner, publishing of scanner data to VAM.
- End user training to cover day-to-day use of scanner.
- Provide an inventory plan template and instruction to the inventory team and provide phone support during the inventory effort.
- Master templates for customizing the categories and subcategories forms.
